OLGA  SCHOOL  RENOVATION  PROJECT RIBBON  CUTTING  CEREMONY 

On Monday, June 23, 2008, 2 PM,   the Lee County Board of County Commissioners will conduct a ribbon cutting ceremony for the newly remodeled Olga Community Center ( formerly known as the Olga School. )   The ceremony will be at 2325 South Olga Drive.   Lee County Commissioner, Frank Mann, will serve as master of ceremonies.  He will be joined by numerous citizens from the Olga Community.  The project cost $ 650,000.   The goal of the project was to restore the building to its 1930 state when it was a local public school for the children of Olga.  The restoration project will help preserve the community's history and heritage. 

The ceremony is open to the public and area citizens are encouraged to attend the festivities.
