Garbage Collection Schedule Changes Memorial Day Holiday
 
FORT MYERS, Fla. (May 23, 2008) –   Please be advised that all unincorporated areas of Lee County as well as the City of Bonita Springs, and the Town of Fort Myers Beach have all  garbage, recycling, and yard waste collections delayed for one day the entire week starting Monday, May 26th  in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. 

If the regularly scheduled garbage pick up day is Monday, then it will be Tuesday; if it is normally on Tuesday, then it will be Wednesday, Wednesday's pick up will be on Thursday, Thursday's on Friday, and Friday's on Saturday.   

This schedule is only in effect from Monday, May 26th   to Saturday, May 31st, 2008.  Regular scheduled collections will resume on June 2nd , 2008.
