Community Meeting in January on Matlacha Bridge Replacement
Dec 23, 2005 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: Don DeBerry, Lee County DOT, 479-8503 COMMUNITY MEETING IN JANUARY ON MATLACHA BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT FORT MYERS, Fla. (December 23, 2005) Lee County is hosting a Community Meeting to obtain input from community residents, business owners, property owners and other interested stakeholders concerning the proposed replacement of the Matlacha Bridge. The meeting will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2006 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the German American Social Club, located at 2101 Southwest Pine Island Road, Cape Coral, FL 33991. A powerpoint presentation about the project will be made at 6 p.m. Information concerning the project scope, schedule, project study area and future opportunities for community involvement will be provided. Graphics will be on display and representatives from the project team will be available to take comments and answer questions. Comment forms will be available.
