Cheerleading Competition to be Held at Harborside Event Center
 
The second annual "Battle at the Beach" will be held March 12-13 at the Harborside Event Center between the hours of 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM each day. The competition will be preceded on Friday afternoon (March 11) by a "luau" at the Holiday Inn located at 6890 Estero Boulevard, Fort Myers Beach.
 
Forty-five teams representing four states and over 700 competitors will compete in this year's event.
 
The "Battle at the Beach" will include a fundraiser for Fort Myers resident and cancer survivor Justine Bernardi. The American Cancer Society will also benefit from a fund-raising effort in conjunction with this event.
