(August 26, 2005) - The VETERANS PARK RECREATION CENTER located at 55 South Homestead Rd. in Lehigh Acres is looking for some volunteers to assist with afternoon programming helping children ages 8-15 years old. Contact Kathy Cahill at 432-2159 for more information. Veteran's Park Recreation Center is looking for college students who would be interested in getting paid to learn. Pay ranges from $7-$12 dollars and can work up to 40 hours a week. Must be enrolled in college to apply. Call Kathy Cahill at 432-2159 for details. Lee County Parks and Recreation's 21st Century Learning Center is looking for some tutors to help tutor 2nd and 3rd graders in the Tice and North Ft Myers area. Tutoring is after school from 2:00-5:00pm Monday through Friday. Change a child's life one hour a week! |
