"Rally to Tally - Help Save Babcock Ranch"
Jan 13, 2005 "RALLY TO TALLY - HELP SAVE BABCOCK RANCH" Join Commissioner Bob Janes (Lee County), Commissioner Adam Cummings (Charlotte County), members of the BBP, Inc., and Babcock Ranch Supporters on Wednesday, January 19, 2005. Travel to The State Capitol The supporters of Babcock Ranch will take charter buses to Tallahassee to the state's Acquisition and Restoration Council (ARC) meeting and to the State Capitol to demonstrate community support for BABCOCK RANCH. The ARC ranks projects for Florida Forever acquisition funds. A STRONG SHOW OF COMMUNITY SUPPORT FOR BABCOCK RANCH IS NEEDED NOW!
5:45 a.m. One of the buses will pickup Charlotte County citizens in the 11:30 a.m. Arrive ARC Meeting - Florida Department of Environmental *Spokesperson will speak for Supporters and Supporters "HELP SAVE BABCOCK RANCH - BABCOCK RANCH 1:00 p.m. Arrive State Capitol - 400 South Monroe Street/Tallahassee 1:00 p.m. Rally to Tally - Help Save Babcock Ranch Rally & Speakers - West steps of Old Capitol 3:00 p.m. Depart Tallahassee 9:30 p.m. Arrive Lee County Sports Complex Chartered buses are accommodated with two drivers, restroom facilities, and handicap lift. Breakfast snacks, boxed lunches and dinners will be provided. We hope to make your trip a comfortable one to Tallahassee for this very important event.
