5-Year Adopted Utility Rate Increase

Dear Customers:
 
On June 20, 2023, the Board of County Commissioners approved a series of incremental rate adjustments for water and wastewater services provided by Lee County Utilities. 
 
To ensure the continued delivery of safe, reliable utility services for the health and well-being of the community, these adjustments are necessary to:
  • Recover the rising operational and maintenance costs. 
  • Fund capital improvements to enhance facilities and infrastructure. 
  • Support debt repayment to maintain financial stability. 
The total monthly rate for water/wastewater services include:
  • Service charge
  • Administrative fee
  • Wellfield conservation surcharge (if applicable)
  • User charges based on usage. 
To minimize the impact on the customer’s, the rate adjustments will be implemented incrementally as follows:
