Lee County Utilities (LCU) wants to alert customers to a recent scam involving fraudulent phone calls from individuals falsely claiming to represent our utility. These scammers may threaten service disconnection and demand immediate payment.
LCU does not call customers demanding immediate payment or threatening service disconnection.
While delinquent accounts may receive courtesy notifications, LCU only requests payment through our secure, official channels:

If you ever receive a suspicious call claiming to be from LCU:
- Do not provide personal or financial information.
- Hang up immediately.
- Contact LCU Customer Service directly at 239-533-8845 to verify your account status.
