The renderings displayed on this page showcase the Fort Myers Beach Pier Replacement Project, which is part of Lee County’s ongoing recovery efforts following the devastation of Hurricane Ian in September 2022. As shown in the renderings, the rebuilt pier will extend 1,000 feet in length and 12 feet in width, longer and wider than the previous structure. These renderings represent 100% design completion. While minor adjustments may still be made, the layout and overall design are finalized. Funded through FEMA’s Disaster Relief Fund, the project is currently in the design and permitting phase, with construction anticipated to begin in late 2026 and take approximately one year to complete, weather permitting.
