Lakes Regional Library
About the Library

Rutenberg Library, the 9th branch of the Lee County Library System, opened in 1991. A larger facility was built in 2005 and renamed Lakes Regional Library.

Thanks to a generous donation from the Frances Prigmore estate, the library was remodeled in 2020 to include new community study rooms, an enlarged and enclosed teen section and a designated “tween” space.
