Lee County residents are encouraged to sign up for AlertLee, Lee County’s new Emergency Mass Notification System. AlertLee replaces the CodeRed system which the County previously used to notify residents and businesses of emergencies.

The AlertLee system enhances officials’ ability to quickly communicate with the public and provide critical and time-sensitive information for emergencies such as hurricanes, wildfires, evacuations, and missing persons. By registering for AlertLee, you can receive alerts via cell phone by voice or text, email addresses, home phone, business phone, and more.

Sign up here www.alertlee.com, select the Sign Up button and choose the area that you live in from the links below. If you do not know which municipality you live in, use the Resident Information tool. Please note, that countywide alerts (e.g., large-scale evacuations) will reach residents that sign up in any area. Unincorporated Lee County includes areas such as Alva, Bayshore, Captiva, Lehigh Acres, North Fort Myers, Olga, Pine Island and Matlacha, San Carlos Island, and portions of South Fort Myers.
