Located in north Lee County, this preserve is mostly pine flatwoods and totals nearly 340 acres in size. This preserve includes portions of the headwaters of Yellow Fever Creek, a narrow channel that accumulates shallow water during the wet season. There is 2.5-mile marked trail system at this preserve. A pedestrian entrance is located on Del Prado Boulevard, which provides access to marked hiking trails and includes a small unpaved parking area.

Part of the northern boundary of this preserve is adjacent to the City of Cape Coral’s Major Park. Eventually, the city plans to develop public facilities, including hiking and equestrian trails, parking, picnic areas, and more. These trails will connect to the trails within the preserve.

The preserve is open daily during daylight hours.
