This 91-acre preserve primarily consists of abandoned pasture, but also includes some impressively massive live oak trees and frontage on the Caloosahatchee River.
Over the next couple of years construction will begin and the preserve will feature a filter marsh with trails around it, a kayak launch, picnic pavilion, restroom, and parking area. Until these features have been built, the public can access the property through the walk-thru gate to go for a hike.
