Animal Services provides spay/neuter programs for caretakers of
feral/community cats through our Trap-Neuter-Return Program and for
dogs and cats of pet owners who receive public assistance.
Trap-Neuter Return Program
There is no charge for these services but
you must schedule an appointment in advance through the online
scheduling option below or by calling 239-533-9234.
Feral cats will receive sterilization surgery, a rabies vaccination (if three
months old or older), microchip ID, and the left ear will be tipped as the
universal sign of a sterilized feral cat.
Public Assistance Program
To qualify owners must be receiving
unemployment benefits, food stamps, social security disability, WIC
checks or Medicaid. The following services are provided for a $30
fee. Appointments are required and may be scheduled through the
online scheduling option below or by calling 239-533-9234.
Owned cats will receive sterilization surgery, a rabies vaccination (if three
months old or older), a microchip ID and a Lee County license (if three months
old or older).
Dogs will receive sterilization surgery, a rabies vaccination (if three
months old or older), a microchip ID, DA2PPV vaccine, and a Lee County license
(if three months old or older).
Additional Services
The following services may be provided for a fee.
- FIV/FELV testing - $15
- Flea treatment - $10
- De-worming - $10
