Tice Community Pool

Tice pool is an outdoor, 169,800 gallon, eight lane rectangle shaped pool with depths from three to six feet.  It is not open year-round.  Summer hours for the public are listed below.  During the school year, Tice elementary school uses the pool for physical education classes.  

Know Before You Go

Register for swim lessons in-person, at the pool.  A parent or guardian must be present to sign the paperwork. LCPR partners with the American Red Cross Centennial Program to offer FREE swim lessons during the summer. Register early, as spaces is limited and fills quickly!

History

The pool was built in 1987 and was originally open to the public year-round.  The pool underwent major renovations in 2005.  A new deck area and filtration system were installed and the pool was refinished.
