In 1952, the Lee County School Board sold the building to a non-profit group called Olga Community Center Inc. In 1964, Olga Community Center Inc. turned the center over to Lee County and in 1986, Parks & Recreation assumed operational control. The center has retained its historic feel and continues to serve the local community. In 2008, the center underwent a total historic renovation. New flooring and windows were installed back to the historic floor plan of the 1930's.
