Summer Reading Program
Adventure Begins at Your Library
June 1-August 3, 2024

Adventure begins at the Library with the Summer Reading Program! This free, all-ages program is designed to nurture and grow a lifelong love of reading and learning through special events, reading challenges and engaging activities.

Free Book for Children and Teens
Every child and teen can choose a free book at the library during the summertime, while supplies last. Choose from a variety of popular titles. Free books must be claimed in-person by the child or teen at any Lee County Library System branch location.
Special Events
Beginning May 1, the library’s calendar of events will be available, featuring events and programs for a summer of fun at the library. Special programming for children and teens includes live animal shows, science, magic and more! Adult programs vary by branch. Space is limited so registration might be required at some locations. Check back in May for a full schedule of events.
Drop-in Activities
Stop by anytime! There is always something happening at our libraries for children and teens.
Reading and Activity Challenges
Choose either virtual or offline program for a summer of reading and adventure. Participants in either format are automatically entered to win book baskets for their age group! One entry, per person, systemwide. Multiple entries may result in disqualification from the prize drawings.

Offline
