Before completing this application, please consider the following requirements and expectations of adult library volunteers.

• A long-term commitment of an agreed upon schedule with a minimum of 2 hours per week
• The ability to lift, bend, stretch, kneel, stand, twist, push full book carts and repeatedly handle and manipulate library materials
• The ability to interact courteously with library patrons and staff
• The ability to conform to the dress guidelines and code of conduct

As part of the application process, all prospective adult volunteers must submit to a background and criminal history check which requires providing your Social Security Number and other related information.
