RESIDENTIAL DRIVEWAY PERMIT, is defined as a permit for a dwelling that is less than a 4 unit building, i.e.. Duplex, Tri-plex, Quad-plex or a Single Family home, will require a DRV permit for changes to property that fronts on a County Maintained Road. Any units that are larger than 4 units, will need to be processed through Development Services for review. Please read the county’s Administration code AC11-12 for county policies for working in a right of way or easement. |

All plans are reviewed and discussed prior to issuing permits by staff review members to ensure safe and proper compliance of construction with in county right of ways. |

COMMERCIAL RIGHT OF WAY USE PERMIT, is defined as a permit for a commercial business being developed or that is already developed on county maintained roads or easements. Licensed contractors working for businesses performing work in the county right of way or easements need a ROW permit to work in or along county roads. | |
