Alva (Northeast Lee County)

Alva is a rural community located along the shores of the Caloosahatchee River in Northeast Lee County.  With North Olga, it comprises the Northeast Lee County Planning Community.  The Alva Community aims to protect its rural way of life by supporting an active agricultural industry, strong rural village, vital natural resources, and rural homes.  The Alva Community actively promotes and protects its historic rural character through a variety of community planning projects:

  • Alva Community Plan and Lee Plan Goal 26 support and enhance Alva’s unique rural, historic, agricultural character and natural environment and resources, including the rural village and surrounding area.  If you are interested in participating or would like more information, please contact Kathie Ebaugh at kebaugh@leegov.com or (239) 533-8313.

  • Alva Land Development Code will establish development plans within the mixed-use Alva Rural Village through community-wide development and design standards.  This is an active community planning project. Project information, meeting materials, and project drafts are available on the community's planning website. If you are interested in participating or would like more information, please contact Kathie Ebaugh at kebaugh@leegov.com or (239) 533-8313.
