Limited Development Orders

 

These are abbreviated descriptions for fast reference. For more detail, please refer to Section 10-174 of the Land Development Code.

 

TYPE

ABBREVIATED DESCRIPTION

1

A cumulative addition to existing impervious that does not increase by more than 2,500 square feet.

Any out-of-door recreational facility provided the total cumulative impervious area does not exceed 8,000 square feet.

Development that received final site plan approval prior to November 10, 1982.

Any subdivision of land into four or less lots for single-family detached dwelling units or two-family attached dwelling units. See Section 10-174.

Any subdivision of land into four lots or less for a use other than single-family detached dwelling units, two-family attached dwelling units or agricultural.

Any single building of two dwelling units or less and any accessory improvements thereto on a single lot which is not a lot of record or platted lot.

Any development containing individual lots for single buildings of two dwelling units or less prior to January 28, 1983.

Any county-initiated improvements for public water access purposes in county-owned or county-maintained rights-of-way.

Any development for a fenced or screened enclosed storage yard as defined in chapter 34 of the Land Development Code.

The installation of new utility lines in existing right-of-way or easement.

Any other improvement to land determined by the director to have insignificant impacts on public facilities in accordance with applicable standards of measurement in this chapter.

Improvements to a county maintained road right-of-way within an incorporated area as defined in section 10-297.

Notice of Intent to Commence Water Retention Excavation for AG use or as an amenity to a single-family residence where spoil is retained on-site or less than 1,000 cubic yards is to be removed offsite and blasting activities will not be conducted.
