Q: When can I view other contractors' prices?
A: Unit prices will be posted on the Contracts website under "In Progress" once the Board has approved award of contract.
Q: How do I download project documents?
A: Click on "Open", locate the project you're interested in, click on the Solicitation #, Scroll to the bottom. There will be a link that says "download documents" if documents are available.
Q: How do I get placed on Lee County's Bidders/Consultant List?
A: A contractor or consultant interested in doing business with Lee County should complete the ONLINE APPLICATION . After receiving a completed and signed W-9 Form, the bidder/consultant will be added to the bidders list under commodity codes selected on the application. When new projects are advertised, you will receive a postcard via mail if it falls under the commodity codes you have chosen.
Q: How can I see who is on an annual contract?

Q: When submitting a proposal, is there a preferred manner of assembling it?
A: We prefer submittals received in a binder; not a glue-bound book due to the fact that these must be scanned and the pages are hard to separate when the binder is glued.
Q: What is the difference between an STA (Supplemental Task Authorization) and a CO (Change Order), and when should I use which?
A: STA's are for master, continuing contracts only (such as annual contracts). CO's are for project-specific contracts.

Q: How often should I fill out the Local Bidder Affidavit, Form GSA 330 or the Contractor Qualification Questionnaire?
A: They are each only good for one year. You can NOT claim local bidder preference if the Local Bidder Affidavit is not current. To claim Local Bidder Preference for each bid submitted, a firm is required to submit a Local Bidder Affidavit each time.
