Current Status - Withdrawn
WITHDRAWN - Amend the underlying Future Land Use designation for the 32 acres subject property from Sub-Outlying Suburban to Outlying Suburban. Remove Policy 1.1.11 (1.a. and 1.b.).

(COUNTY INITIATED) The Estero Community Planning Panel is requesting approval of the proposed Estero Community Plan Update (Lee Plan Goal 19) to meet the community’s desire to encourage economic diversity; mixed-use centers; and, improve linkages between residential, commercial, and other uses.

(State Amendment No. 15-1ESR) Text and map amendments to establish an environmental restoration overlay within a specific area of the Density Reduction Groundwater Resource (DR/GR) Future Land Use Category. The amendment is requesting a maximum density of 1,100 dwelling units, including amenities such as clubhouses, a private marina and other recreational uses, and up to 40,000 feet of commercial. THIS CASE IS WITHDRAWN BECAUSE IT DID NOT TAKE PLACE AND IT IS NOW TOO LATE IN THE YEAR. IT WILL BE INCORPORATED INTO THE CURRENT CIP (CPA2015-00008). Amend the Capital Improvements Element by adopting revised Tables 3 & 4 to reflect the latest adopted Capital Improvement Program. Adopt the updated Lee County School Districts School Capital Improvement Program as Table 3(a) of the Capital Improvement Element.

(CASE TRANSFERRED TO ESTERO - CLOSED) Request to change the future land use designation from Suburban and Public Facilities to Via Coconut Urban Place, includes updates to Map 1, Table 1(b), and addition of new policy 1.1.12.



Current Status - LPA Review
(COUNTY INITIATED) Amend the Lee Plan to remove the overriding public necessity requirement found in Objective 17.1, Objective 20.1, Policy 21.1.5, and Policy 26.2.2 with regards to the Buckingham, Caloosahatchee Shores, Alva, and Bayshore community plans.
