Gallery Orange River Preserve is located approximately one mile east of Interstate 75, just after crossing the Orange River. Habitat restoration and invasive control projects were conducted at the preserve between 2008 and 2011, including roller-chopping overgrown areas of saw palmetto, removing large invasive exotic melaleuca trees, and removing Brazilian pepper trees. Ongoing management activities include exotic plant control, conducting prescribed burns and planting south Florida slash pine trees.
