Purpose:

To review the Home Rule Charter and propose any amendments or revisions that may be advisable for placement on the general election ballot.

The Charter Review Committee will be meeting over a period of twelve (12) months in order to produce any proposed amendments to the Charter.

The final product developed by the Chater Review Commitee will need to be in place by the end of May 2008, for transmittal to the Board of County Commissioners for its consideration and approval and then subsequently to the Supervisor of Elections in early July for placement on the ballot for the November 2008, election.
