LEE TV ADDS NEW PROGRAMMING/SALTWATER FISH SERIES

FORT MYERS, FL. (November 21, 2003) - Lee TV, Lee County's Government Access channel, is adding a series of videos that detail Florida's saltwater Sport Fish Restoration programs and fisheries conservation. The videos are produced through the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and hosted by Mark Sosin, an award winning outdoor writer and television producer.

Episodes explain how saltwater fishing license dollars are being used to conduct marine research, enhance artificial reefs, and fisheries conservation and management. Various catch-and-release and fish handling techniques for anglers are explained.

The program will air on ComCast Cable Channel 11 and on Time Warner Cable Channel 16 Wednesday nights at 8:00 p.m. and Saturdays at 1:30 p.m. and will change monthly. Lee TV is the county's 24-hour government access channel, providing residents with information about Lee County Government as well as information on public safety and state related issues.
