"Softball Events Warm Up to Lee County"

With northern temperatures exceptionally cooler than normal, Lee County's warm weather has proven to be popular among some of the nations top 18-year-old and under women's softball players.

 

Lee County is set to welcome back the "Perfect Game Women's Fastpitch Championships" for the second year. This year's field includes three local teams:  Lee County Rage, Florida Scream and Phillies Gold.

 

"Lee County's weather, facilities and assistance makes our event one of the best of it's kind" said event director Wendi Krejca.

 

Pool play will begin at the Lee County Sports Complex on Saturday, November 15th thru November 16th. Saturday games start  at 8:00 AM with the last games played beginning at 9:00 PM. Sunday games start at 8:00 AM with the championship game beginning at 5:00 PM.  A schedule has been attached.

 

This event will attract 20 teams with players representing 15 states and Canada.
