WILLIAMS ROAD IN LEHIGH ACRES TO BE CLOSED FROM JULY 7th UNTIL JULY 21st.

 

FORT MYERS, Fla. (July 1, 2003) – Lee County Department of Transportation will close Williams Road from Lee Boulevard to W. 5th ST.  in Lehigh Acres to traffic from about 9 a.m. Monday, July 7th   to 5   p.m. Monday , July. 21st

 

Lee DOT will redirect traffic from Coolidge Road to Connecticut Street and from Willard Avenue to West 5th Avenue. This route will allow motorists to arrive at their destinations without using Williams Road as an option.

 

Residents are asked to follow the provided alternative route during the period of the road closure.

 

Work will also be done on all utility, storm drainage, and intersection work adjacent to Lee Blvd during the road closure.

 

The closing of Williams Road is in conjunction with the Lee Boulevard widening project, which began in August of 2002.
