FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
FORT
MYERS, Fla. (November 19,
2002) – Lee County Government continues to add to its web site with a new
“Construction & Design” page that updates citizens on the status of the
county’s construction projects.
The link is www.lee-county.com/publicworks/construction_and_design.htm.
Or go into lee-county.com and select Departments/Divisions,
Construction and Design.
The Construction
& Design Department oversees the planning, design and construction of the
county’s non-transportation related projects such as libraries, parks and
government facilities.
The site gives the
status of all active construction projects, including total budget, total spent
to-date and anticipated completion date. It
also has a summary list of the $92 million of projects slated for fiscal year
2002-03.
This is just the
latest effort to further Lee County’s technology vision of providing
