Public Information Workshop
Summerlin Road Six-Laning
From Boyscout Drive to Cypress Lake Drive
Fort Myers, FL, August 13,
2002 - The
Lee County Department of Transportation (DOT) will conduct a Public Information
Workshop for the Summerlin Road Six-Laning Design Project on Tuesday, August 20,
2002 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Cypress Lake Middle School Cafetorium.
The middle school is located at 6750 Panther Lane, Fort Myers, Florida.
The
limits of the project are from Boy Scout Drive to Cypress Lake Drive. The design
phase includes widening Summerlin Road from the existing four-lane configuration
to six lanes and the addition of an urban interchange for the intersection of
College Parkway & Summerlin Road.
The
Public Information Workshop is being held to receive comments from the general
public as well as inform the public of the project progress.
Graphics and maps depicting the proposed design will be on display and
representatives from Lee County DOT will be on hand for an informal discussion
and to answer questions. This
is an informal public workshop; no
formal presentation will be given. You
are invited to attend the workshop anytime between the hours of 4:30
- 6:30 pm.
