LEEWAY SERVICE CENTER HOURS EXTENDED MONDAYS
TO BETTER SERVE CUSTOMERS

FORT MYERS, Fla. (July 31, 2002) – The LeeWay Service Center at 1366 Colonial Boulevard is extending its hours on Mondays to better serve walk-in customers. 

LeeWay is the county’s Electronic Toll Collection Program. 

Beginning this past Monday (July 29) and now continuing every Monday only, lobby hours at the Service Center have been extended from a 5:30 p.m. closing to 6:30 p.m. closing.  The Service Center hours are 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Mondays and 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. 

The LeeWay Service Center is at the foot of the Midpoint Memorial Bridge on the Fort Myers side. 

The LeeWay Service Center is a full service facility with customer service representatives available to serve bridge users with any needs you may have including: 

§         Answer questions

§         Set up new accounts

§         Install / remove your transponder

§         Test the transponder

§         Change the vehicle on account

§         Change the payment type

§         Accept payment on account 

The Service Center has a test lane that can help identify the cause of most problems associated with transponders such as metal oxide in a windshield, improper mounting, a weak battery, or incorrect account information.
