FORT MYERS, Fla. (December 21, 2001) – There will be garbage collection in unincorporated Lee County, Town of Fort Myers Beach and City of Bonita Springs on the next two Mondays (Dec. 24 and Dec. 31). However, there will be no collection of garbage, recycling, and horticulture waste on the next two Tuesdays (Dec. 25 and Jan. 1) in observance of Christmas and New Year’s Day. Collection will resume on Wednesdays for those who would have had a collection on Tuesday. The rest of the weeks the collection will be one day delayed. The regular collection schedule will resume on Monday, January 7, 2002.
