Anne Tyler Novel Discussed at South County Library
Pulitzer Prize-winning writer Anne Tyler's latest novel, "Back When We Were
Grownups," will be discussed at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, at the South County Regional Library on Three Oaks Parkway in Estero.
Anyone interested in participating in the discussion, which is free and open to the public, should call the library at 390-3200, option #3, to register.
Tyler encourages the reader to consider what would happen if what "might-have-been" turned into "could-still-be" in this lyrical story of an aging baby boomer whose hopes and dreams have turned into mundane realities. Once again Tyler fills her engaging tale with eccentric but lovable characters.
