Library Bookmark Contest for Kids
The Lee County Library System invites kids in grades 3, 4, and 5 to participate in the
Design a Bookmark Contest.
Here’s how to enter:
1. Pick up a contest entry blank and complete rules at any Lee County Library System Library or the bookmobile.
2. Design a book mark on the entry blank, using this year’s theme "Get Carried Away. . . Read"
The deadline for entries is October 17.
The first place winner at each library will receive:
a first place certificate
an invitation to a reception at Barnes & Noble, and a Barnes & Noble gift certificate
a free family ticket to the local Tellabration 2001
(this is a storytelling event presented by the Tamiami Tale Tellers on November 17. )
Other outstanding entries will receive honorable mention certificates.
Entries will be displayed in the public libraries during Children’s Book Week, Nov. 12 - 17.
