PUBLIC HEARING SET FOR LEE TRAN ROUTE AND SCHEDULE RESTRUCTURING
FORT MYERS, Fla. (August 29, 2001) – The date has been set for the public hearing on Lee Tran’s final route and schedule restructuring proposal.
The hearing will take place Sep. 11 (Tuesday) at 5 p.m. in the Lee County Commission Chambers of the Old County Courthouse, 2120 Main Street in downtown Fort Myers.
The recommended service modifications will affect each route in the current Lee Tran system to some extent. Some routes will have only time schedule changes, some will be completely redesigned and some will be eliminated. The final proposal will create a new route and schedule network for the Lee Tran system.
Lee Tran plans to implement the recommended changes on Nov. 1.
