An Opportunity to Help Needy Kids

You can help needy area children the next time you visit a Lee County Regional Library.

The Multi-Cultural Centre of Southwest Florida and Southwest Florida Parent and Child Magazine are holding their third annual "Back To School Festival" and school supply drive.

More than 1,300 area children are registered to receive donated items at the Festival, July 29, at the Harborside Convention Center.

Donation boxes have been set up at the four Regional Lee County Libraries, where patrons can drop off needed items like backpacks, pencils, paper, new underwear and socks.

All donations will be picked up July 26.

The participating libraries are:
