Summer Reading Programs Draw Thousands to Lee County Libraries.
Summer Reading is just heating up @ your Lee County Library! Already more than 6 thousand children and teens have joined the "Summer Reading Team" or "Teens Read and Win" program. There's even a "Born to Read" summer program for babies and toddlers up to 3 years old.
Reading Team participants have been busy selecting new favorite books from the Library and collecting stickers in their reading booklets. Our eager readers have gotten close with reptiles, enjoyed magic and balloons with Fruit Loop the Clown, and even had their "socks scared off" with some scary story telling.
There's still time to sign up and enjoy summer reading and participate in special activities at your Library. Enjoy puppet shows, great story telling and more. Programs run through July and into August.
For a complete schedule of events, call your Lee County Library.
