Kids with a Lee County Library Card Can Ride Lee Tran for Less!

Lee Tran’s discount fare program starts Monday, July 2, 2001, and those 17 years old and under are eligible, with a Lee County Library Card.

Rides will cost 50 cents (half off the regular price) during all hours of operation.

Participants need to come to the Intermodal Center, at 2250 Peck Street in downtown Fort Myers, to receive a Lee Tran photo id. Participants will need to bring proof of age (birth certificate recommended) and a valid Lee County Library Card. There will be a fee of $1.00 for the id card to defray production costs.

Anyone without the photo id will not receive the reduced fare. This discount fare does not include transfers or trolley rides. Transfers will continue to cost 15 cents and trolley rides will be 25 cents.
