TRASH COLLECTION SCHEDULE CHANGES FOR JULY 4^TH HOLIDAY

FORT MYERS, Fla. (June 27, 2001) – Due to the Independence Day holiday (July 4) all trash collections in unincorporated Lee County, Town of Fort Myers Beach and City of Bonita Springs will be delayed one day from the normal schedule. The same holds true for recycling and yard waste collections.

For example, if your normal garbage pick-up day is Wednesday (July 4), it will be Thursday; if it normally is Thursday, then it will be Friday; and Friday’s pick-up will be on Saturday.

This schedule is only in effect from July 5 to July 7. The regular schedule will resume July 9.
