FORT MYERS, Fla. (May 25, 2001) – Lee County Department of Human Services announces receipt of $13,793 in additional funds from the Florida Department of Community Affairs to replace existing wells that are no longer functioning and to upgrade the existing well supply side plumbing and/or electric. With the continued drought conditions, these funds will be expended for low-income residents, whose wells are no longer functioning.
