Fort Myers, Florida, 4/27/01—Lee County Animal Services is extending its hours on Tuesdays beginning May 1^st. On Tuesdays the shelter will remain open until 7:30 pm providing citizens with additional time to claim lost pets and adopt new pets. The extended hours will allow Animal Services to be more accessible and better able to meet the public’s needs.

Animal Services’ complete list of service hours to the public is as follows:

        Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday – 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

        Tuesday – 8:00 am to 7:30 pm

        Saturday – 8:00 am to 3:00 pm

        Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday – 10:00 am to 5:00 pm

        Tuesday – 10:00 am to 7:30 pm

        Saturday – 10:00 am to 3:00 pm

        Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday – 11:00 am to 5:00 pm

        Tuesday – 11:00 am to 7:30 pm

        Saturday – 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
